SOLID START AT MASTER OF THE AMATEURS FOR KIWI MEN

The Master of the Amateurs tee’s is currently in action as the world’s best go head to head at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, including nine New Zealanders.

On show this week will be Wenyung Keh, Julianne Alvarez, Alanna Campbell and Caryn Khoo in the women’s field, while Daniel Hillier, Matt McLean, Charlie Hillier, Kevin Koong and Jimmy Zheng round out all our Kiwis who look to start 2019 with a bang. 

Daniel Hillier and Matt Mclean are the leading Kiwis in the men's field and currently sit at one-under par, three shots off the lead. 
 

The Master of the Amateurs knows how to attract champions with past players at this event including Rickie Fowler, Tommy Fleetwood, Jason Day, Bryson DeChambeau plus many more impressive names.

World number one amateur Justin Suh of the USA will headline the field alongside defending champion and local hope, David Micheluzzi who has been ranked as high as number seven in the world.
