FOX FINISHES 6TH ON EUROPEAN TOUR

4/02/2019

Ryan Fox has got his European Tour season off to a great start with a sixth-place finish at the Saudi International overnight.

The New Zealander finished eight shots back from eventual winner and world number three, Dustin Johnson. Joining him on an 11-under par total were five other golfers including the in-form Bryson Dechambeau and Ian Poulter.

This was the 32-year-old's second event of the year and after missing the cut last week, he will be pleased with his efforts which also earnt him a healthy NZ$134,000 payday.

Young rookie-pro from Australia, Min Woo Lee also enjoyed the Saudi International after finishing in fourth place in just his second-ever professional start and claiming NZ$250,000. Lee featured at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Wellington two years ago and has played with and against many of our up and coming New Zealand amateurs.
