Profile

Doug Holloway made a name for himself in the local scene when he won the Wairakei Open three times in a row on the Charles Tour from 2006 – 2008.

The Hastings professional was considered as one of the most exciting players and came within one stroke of qualifying for the PGA Tour.

Holloway, who is now based in Australia, won three Pro-Am events on the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2011 and is a perennial contender on the Charles Tour.

The big hitting Holloway was in contention at the BMW New Zealand Open in Christchurch in 2011 and is looking to realize his long touted potential.
