Profile

Josh Geary is a Tauranga professional who missed keeping his web.com Tour card in 2013 and is trying to qualify for a tour in 2014.

He returned home with a point to prove and showed he is still world class.

Geary won the Western Australian Open to record his first win on the PGA Tour of Australasia.

It came the week after he won his third title on The Charles Tour at the Carrus Tauranga Open.

Geary came close to winning his fourth Charles Tour title. He finished runner-up to James Hamilton at the Harewood Open when Hamilton finished birdie - eagle for a spectacular finish.

The former Eisenhower representative plays with former New Zealand rep Brad Heaven as his caddy and manager.

He has been the leading Kiwi at the New Zealand Open the past four years recording three top 10 finishes and finishing one shot outside of the playoff at the BMW NZ Open at Clearwater in 2011.

Geary has world-calss ability and he will look to fulfill that by getting on a main tour in 2014.
