Hillier, while still young at just 19, has already amassed a number of key titles, including two New Zealand Junior U19 Championships, the 2017 Australian Junior Championship, a Charles Tour event in the Harewood Open as well as a New Zealand Amateur Championship.
Hillier will debut in his first senior NZ representative team, when he competes in the 2017 Nomura Cup in November -  one he is more than ready for.

Aged 4. Began playing competitively when I was about 8.

Jordan Speith

Hours practice per week:

Roughly 30 hours on and off the course.

Warm up routine:

Stretching and band work, putting, chipping then hitting balls on the range.

Most satisfying golf moment:

Winning the 2015 NZ Amateur in front of my parents who drove all the way up to Auckland to watch the final.

Strongest part of your game:

Driving or wedges.

Best thing about golf:

The heat of the competition and the fact that you can't hide away from pressure situations


To become the best I can be as a golfer and a person.

Advice for new players:

Don't have any expectations, just go out and enjoy it.

Pebble Beach, because of its views and condition of the course.
