Profile

Compton Pikari 3/7/1995

Compton Pikari is a player on the rise. The Te Awamutu golfer was fast out of the blocks in 2012 winning three junior tournaments in quick succession, culminated by a comfortable win at the North Island Under 19 Championship. From there he went onto win the South Island Stroke Play Championship in a quality field that included the likes of Vaughan McCall, Daniel Pearce and Mathew Perry. It was a run of form that saw Pikari selected in the Junior Boys team for the Trans Tasman Cup and represent New Zealand at the Australian Boys’ Amateur. Pikari is a product of the St Peter College in Cambridge and is a new inductee of the Srixon Development Squad in 2012 – 2013.
