BMW New Zealand Open

The 93rd BMW New Zealand Open Championship will be held at Clearwater Resort in Christchurch on 1 to 4 December 2011, sanctioned with the Australasian Tour.
 
It forms part of the major professional tournaments in Australasia, following on from the Australian Open in Sydney, President’s Cup in Melbourne and the Australian PGA in Queensland. The BMW New Zealand Open will be the final event on the Australasian Order of Merit for 2011.

The BMW New Zealand Open will be based at Clearwater for three years. It has been backed by BMW NZ Ltd and the City of Christchurch.

ISPS Handa NZ Women's Open

The 2012 ISPS Handa New Zealand Women's Open to be held over February 17 - 19 will be staged at Pegasus Golf Club near Christchurch.
 
New Zealand Golf is pleased to announce the involvement of the new title sponsor, the International Sports Promotion Society, ensures the New Zealand Women’s Open keeps its co-sanctioned status on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) Tours in 2012.
 
Defending champion Kristie Smith, who won the title by three shots in 2011 for her maiden win on the LET, and English superstar Laura Davies, who won the championship in 2010, have confirmed they will return to compete in the event.
 
It is expected that the fourth staging of the championship will attract its best field in 2012 with the timing of the event directly after the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open and RACV Gold Coast Australian Ladies Masters.
