Club Capability Manager - New Zealand Golf

New Zealand Golf Inc. (NZ Golf) are seeking a sport capability professional with excellent facilitation and communication skills for an Auckland based Club Capability Manager (CCM) role.

The CCM will be responsible for the development of participation and club support initiatives and programmes within the Auckland, North Harbour and Northland region.

The position will be based in the NZ Golf offices in Takapuna, Auckland.

Golf Development Office – Sport Otago & Golf Otago
Dunedin Based 
 

Sport Otago and Golf Otago wish to appoint a full-time Development Officer for the sport of golf.

Initially, this is a fixed-term position to 30 June 2016, however subject to funding, will be extended post this date.

The Golf Development programme is a partnership between Sport Otago, New Zealand Golf, Golf Otago, and the Otago Community Trust. The principal aims of this position are to identify the coaching challenges and barriers to participation that golf currently faces and to assist the sport with developing and implementing the appropriate strategies to address these. There will be particular emphasis on the development and support of club-based junior golfing programmes.

The position requires applicants to possess:

  • An ability to understand the challenges faced by volunteers in golf.
  • Experience in the principles of coach, official, and volunteer education.
  • Experience in working with sports organisations, regional bodies, and schools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability.
  • An ability to motivate others.
