Media and Communications Manager - NZ Golf

New Zealand Golf are seeking a media and communications professional to join our passionate and fun team.

The key purpose of this role is to coordinate and drive the media and communication requirements of New Zealand Golf including managing the presentation and public profile of the organisation.  This role presents an exciting and unique opportunity to help shape the future growth of New Zealand’s largest participation sport.

Able to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences through a variety of channels,  you will come with you will come with a background in media, journalism, digital, agency, PR or similar.  Whatever it is, it'll be your communication skills that set you apart.

Implementation, Application and Customer Relations Specialist - DotGolf


DotGolf has established a strong reputation in the golf industry developing world leading SaaS systems, and delivering these solutions to golf clubs throughout New Zealand. We are expanding, and are on the lookout for a personable, passionate team-player with experience in software implementation and training clients on our platforms.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and skills;

  • experience in software implementation and delivering solutions
  • enjoy building strong client relationships with existing and new customers
  • excellent communication, professionalism and customer interaction skills
  • strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify, and fix or escalate accordingly
  • the ability to multi-task, prioritise and complete tasks effectively in a timely manner
  • experience conducting live webinars and online training sessions
  • a passion for technology

About the role; key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our high-value customers, you will support Management and drive software implementations throughout New Zealand.
  • You will take ownership of customer installations from the on boarding process through to post implementation (some travel may be required).
  • You will be responsible for planning and conducting training webinars for our customers on key topics.
  • You will help maintain our solution article knowledge base.
  • You will act as a key link between our Customer Support and Software Development teams

While not required, applicants with any of the following will be highly regarded;

  • any experience in accounting principles or working knowledge of Xero (confidence in working with numbers and financials)
  • any experience in POS hospitality/retail systems
  • good understanding of remote application support; basic networking
  • knowledge of the golf industry or sporting administration would be advantageous
  • technical background and understanding of API’s and integrations
  • a good understanding of SaaS and cloud solutions

Golf Development Officer - Waikato

Waikato Golf Association Incorporated, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join their passionate team as a Golf Development Officer.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Golf Development Officer will focus on supporting clubs across the Waikato District to deliver community golf programmes and events in a way that encourages and sustains participation and volunteer support.

We are seeking applications from individuals with the following attributes:

· strong relationship management skills

· ability to work effectively as a team member

· broad sporting sector knowledge and experience from within a golf organisation or the community sport arena

· previous experience leading the development and implementation of participation programmes or events

· competent with the management of social media platforms

· is logical, structured and systematic in planning and completing their workload

This role will involve working at various locations across Waikato and requires the ability to be flexible with standard working hours, which may include some evenings and weekends.
