Bay of Plenty Golf, PGA of New Zealand, New Zealand Golf and Sport Bay of Plenty are seeking a BayTrust Golf CoachForce Development Officer to develop coaches in the Bay of Plenty region.

The BayTrust CoachForce Golf Officer is responsible for the leadership, management and delivery of programs and initiatives to support the education and development of coaches within the sport of golf for the Bay of Plenty regional area.

Play Atlantic Ltd, Play Atlantic Representative

Play Atlantic is an exciting company that helps young and ambitious athletes attain scholarships to study and compete in the highly competitive US university system.

We are currently looking for people with high performance sports experience to help increase awareness of the opportunities young athletes have in the United States via their current involvement in the sport. This is a supplementary income opportunity that is commission-based, which will work alongside your current employment.

Requirements
·      Playing or Coaching Experience in the United States University System; or
·      Coaching or involvement in High Performance Training Programs; or
·      Equivalent sporting experience
·      Good Organization and Communication Skills
·      Self-motivated  

Responsibilities
·      Promote opportunities to young athletes
·      Help create awareness in local communities
·      Refer athletes to our services

Club Manager / Administrator

Hanmer Springs offers an excellent environment in which to work and live. The town caters for thousands of tourists each year and boasts magnificent scenery and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The golf club has around 200 members yet many green fee players are attracted to the course for its wonderful playing conditions scenery and facilities.

The person we are looking for will possess the following skills and attitude:

· Strong business and management skills
· Excellent computer skills. Experience with “Club Manager” would be an advantage.
· A passion to develop marketing initiatives utilising Social Media, Web and all tools available.
· Good time management.
· Pride in offering excellent customer service.
· A Bar Managers or Club Bar license. However this is not a pre-requisite as the Club will assist in obtaining one.
· A knowledge of golf will be of an advantage but should not preclude the applicant with sufficient credentials
· Along with the above the Club Manager/Administrator will be responsible for:
· Development of new revenue streams using existing facilities
· Compiling a long term business strategy
· Developing new revenue streams utilising existing facilities   
· Processing of club accounts, wages and sales.
· Ensuring exceptional levels of service to members and visitors.
· Increasing the range and selection of goods and services offered to members and visitors, along with carrying out tasks as required fulfilling the needs of members and our many visitors.

Hours of work will be 5 days per week Tuesday - Saturday.
