Marketing Coordinator

New Zealand’s largest integrated golf tour and event company, PaR nz Golfing Holidays is seeking a dynamic marketing or business graduate, to join their small team of avid golfers in a special, developing role as the company continues to grow yearly.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work to deadlines, willing to work in a small team environment and be highly resourceful and flexible. They must be capable of working unsupervised for long periods of time with absentee directors continually travelling with demanding tour and tournament schedules.

The Marketing Coordinator must have highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, and be easy to get on with. The dynamics and ability to work with a small team cannot be stressed highly enough of this role, and indeed all team members of PaR nz Golfing Holidays. A sense of humour and a love and knowledge of sport and in particular, golf, is essential. Some travel within New Zealand is likely as is, from time to time, international travel.

Golf Operations Manager

Maraenui Golf Club is looking to employ an experienced Golf Operations Manager, situated in Napier. The Club has an established 18-hole course with membership of over 600 and approximately 50,000 rounds of Golf played per year. In addition to this, the Club own and operate a 9-hole Public Course facility incorporating an 18-hole Footgolf course.

Applicants should have the following skills:

  • Outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • Able to manage staff.
  • Understanding and love for the game of golf, desire to share this with others.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Golf and appreciation of golfing etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service skills; experience providing customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience and aptitude for learning to use new software programmes.
  • Ability to write reports and content for marketing publications.
  • Able to work key club days to include some Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.
  • Understanding of DotGolf and Club Manager software.
  • Preparedness to obtain a Managers Certificate in respect of Managing Licensed Premises.
