NZ Golf - Appointed Director 

The New Zealand Golf Board Appointments Panel is now seeking applicants for one Appointed Director position available for a three year term from January 2016. 

The key purpose of this voluntary role is to help govern the organisation and to advance the long-term interests of golf throughout New Zealand.

Primary duties include:

- Setting the strategic direction and priorities for the organisation;
Setting policy and management performance expectations; 

Characterising and managing risks; and 
Monitoring and evaluating organisational performance.

Desired skills and attributes:

Experience as a Director (ideally in the sporting environment); 
Strong strategic planning and commercial skills; 
Financial management experience; 
Digital and technology expertise; and 
A team player.
