NEW ZEALAND GOLF
MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the New Zealand Golf team who ensures the organisation is presented professionally through all media and communication channels. Success in the role will be measured by the increased quality of media coverage and the increased quality and effectiveness of our communications programme. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Leading the media and communications plans for New Zealand Golf. • Developing and coordinating all media releases and communications to New Zealand Golf’s internal and external stakeholders.• Driving the digital communication strategy and the digital presence of all New Zealand Golf brands and websites.• Developing and managing content across all New Zealand Golf websites.• Driving the increased use and effectiveness of New Zealand’s digital and social media channels.• Acting as the media liaison and media representative of New Zealand Golf for all organisation activities including leading the media and communications endeavours at our national tournaments.• Maintaining up to date media, stakeholder and player databases.• Managing the New Zealand Golf photo library and the management of all event photography including creating content for social media.• Providing in-depth reports and analysis of website traffic, media coverage, communication effectiveness and social media insights.• Leveraging all New Zealand Golf promotional initiatives through relevant media and communication channels.• Assisting New Zealand Golf tournament directors in the effective running of national championships.• Developing effective relationships with all key media outlets and channels.Click Here to view the Position Description for this role.Please send applications by email to Jan Rowsell (firstname.lastname@example.org).
